vans checkerboard slip-on, stylemint T, j. brand cut-offs (old, love this color), ray ban metal aviators Old school is the Vans classic slip-on shoe! Vans have been a trademark of the surfers and skaters since 1966 when Paul Van Doren opened the doors to his first store in California. This particular style, the classic slip-on, is my favorite! It comes in many different colors and designs. If the checkerboard is just too much for your personal style, try the solid white or navy. It will quickly become a wardrobe staple! Hope everyone had a very stylish 4th of July! Erica

What better way to show my love for this gorgeous weather than with this adorable skirt covered in hearts! I bought it back in October, and wore it during the winter with black opaque tights, black suede heels and a cream cowl neck sweater. I was thrilled to get it out again and style it in a completely different way.. laid-back for an outdoor festival. Meeting friends for dinner and drinks? Lose the hat, sandals and bag… add black heels, little black blazer, big hoop earrings, black clutch and some red lipstick to finish it off! Have a stylish day! Erica
Tomboyish, rugged, classics with a twist… just a few words that come to mind when writing about this outfit. In my eyes, this J. Crew denim western shirt or a lighter chambray version are classics, and can be used just like the white button-down shirt. I spotted a girl wearing her dark denim shirt open as a jacket with a tight black tank tucked into white jeans, a black Hermes belt and gold sandals. She looked fantastic! I wore this outfit yesterday for a day of errands and doctor appointments with the kids. I actually did not set out to take pictures of this for a post, but quickly realized it was a great everyday look! It was laid-back and casual, but felt like I had put a little effort into it. I highly recommend these J. Crew MacAlister boots! They are unbelievably comfortable, and I love the tomboy aspect! Have a…
You definitely can be stylish and comfortable! I bought these Minnetonka Moccasins last year, and they quickly became a personal favorite! Being America’s first footwear, they are a true casual classic. The perfect choice to show off your free-spirited, laid-back side. They are made in both ankle and boot styles, and look awesome paired with skinny jeans and t-shirts or leggings and an oversized sweater… just to name a few. Another closet staple is white jeans, and I do not put them away after Labor Day! I love white jeans in the winter tucked into boots with a turtleneck and blazer, or a navy sweater and ballet flats. Very Parisian! A sequined top or jacket paired with white skinny jeans and heels will have you looking elegant for a night out on the town. Toughen those white skinnies up with the perfect grey t-shirt, a black motorcycle jacket and black…
